Online Cured & Smoked Meats Vendor Comes to Ecomitize for Site Redesign

A few challenging problems required some creative solutions for a client with an outdated mobile-unfriendly website 

Cured & smoked meats, not the first thing you think of when you think of an eCommerce website, but when small business client Swiss Meat & Sausage Company in Hermann, Missouri came to Ecomitize with some unique problems, we went full steam ahead on modernizing their site. Our experience with small businesses and entrepreneurs provided us with the skills we needed to set this site up for success. 

Their previous website was outdated and had some issues with mobile performance. This in turn provided for low conversions for the Swiss Meats online business. This culminated in the need for a brand new site that would be set up for success. 

Ecomitize reviewed the specific problems with the previous Swiss Meats site and created a comprehensive strategy to modernize and optimize the site. We started with redesigning the site using the Magento Weltpixel Pearl theme, which immediately made the site mobile-friendly and optimized for user experience. Ecomitize then moved on to optimizing the customer forms on the site and creating a brand new home page to feature products and adding customer testimonials to the home page to ensure Swiss Meats had credibility in their industry. We also worked with the client on the layout of the banners and products to create a cohesive brand look for their products. To finish off the project, Ecomitize installed an extension for Swiss Meats to manage online recipes.
